Some audience think that this limit restricts the colorfulness of the snooker, but actually this limit also helped the birth of a new strategy which is called to make snooker, the players can control the cue ball to move to a place that has one or more balls blocking on the route from the cue ball to the object ball that their opponents will hit, which can make them foul. In the snooker, the penalty for foul is not only that the opponents can put the cue ball everywhere in the semicircle, but also they can add 5 points.
